滙點事工領袖學院CIOML 成立于 2020 年，今年秋季學期已進入第四個年頭。這裏有幾個令人振奮的消息需要報告。首先，CIOML已獲准使用錄制視頻和在線論壇的彈性時間形式授課，以取代Zoom會議。第二，我們的姊妹ADVANCE中心，真道浸信會中文領袖學院 TBCSL，將於秋季開始運作。第三，也是最令人興奮的是，我們的一些學員將在今年年底獲得金門神學院頒發的文憑！
CIOML將以彈性時間形式開設四門課程，包括《基督教歷史縱覽》、《浸信會傳統與體制》、《基督教神學1》和《基督教神學2》。跟Zoom上課不一樣。講座視頻數量較多但時間長度將縮短，主題性更強。學員可以更靈活地安排一周的聽課時間。有了這種新的彈性形式，CIOML也可以向居住在世界其他時區的粵語基督徒提供教育資源。
CIOML幾年來都是真道神學院的事工夥伴，一直有學生交換註冊的安排。真道浸信會中文領袖學校（TBCSL）是其附屬的ADVANCE中心，將于今年秋季學期開始運作，提供粵語和國語的課程。秋季課程包括《有效溝通》（粵語）和《新約導論》（國語）。兩個中心將繼續在網站互相列出。有興趣選修 TBCSL 課程的 CIOML 學員直接在 TBCSL 報名，反之亦然。
由于CIOML每學期只提供一到兩門課程，而且一年只有三個學期，因此需要三年左右的時間才能完成文憑課程，因為文憑課程需要8門課程。但值得表揚的是一些CIOML的學員耐心和努力地完成了文憑課程。恭喜！主若願意，我們將繼續努力，幫助更多的學員打下事奉的神學基礎。他們最要感謝的就是你們這第一批畢業生！

Founded in 2020, CIOML is entering the fourth year of operation this Fall term. There are several pieces of exciting news to report. First, CIOML has received the approval to deliver courses using the flexible time format using recorded video and online forum in place of Zoom meetings. Second, our sister ADVANCE center, the Truth Baptist Chinese School of Leadership, will begin its operation. Third and most excitingly, some of our students will receive the Gateway Seminary conferred diploma the end of this year!
CIOML will offer four courses in the new flexible time format, including Survey of Christian History, Baptist Heritage and Practice, Christian Theology 1, and Christian Theology 2. Students will watch recorded lecture videos and participate in discussion forums, instead of joining the Zoom meeting. The lectures will be shorter and more topical. That gives students more flexibility to plan their attendance during the week. With this new format, CIOML will also be able to make our educational resources available to Cantonese Christians in living in other time zones of the world.
CIOML has been a ministry partner of Truth Theological Seminary and we have had a cross-registration arrangement. Truth Baptist Chinese School of Leadership (TBCSL), their subsidiary ADVANCE center, will begin operation this Fall term and offer courses in both Cantonese and Mandarin. Their Fall term courses include Effective Communication and New Testament Survey. The two centers will continue to cross-list courses in our websites. But CIOML students interested in taking courses at TBCSL will enroll there directly and vice versa for TBCSL.
Because CIOML only offers one to two courses every term and there are only three terms a year, it takes about three years to complete a diploma as it requires 8 courses. But much to the credit of our students, some have worked through the program with patience and commitment. Congratulations to all of you! Lord willing, we will continue this effort and help more students receive a theological foundation for ministry. And they have you the first batch of graduates to thank!
